The top blade is curved for easy cutting and long grooves on the inside of each blade make it difficult for adhesives to gum up the blades. Double bevels ensure that the blades will stay sharp longer.
The lower blade features a serrated bottom edge for opening boxes, while a wire cutter built in to the rear of the blades lets you make home repairs without hunting down extra tools. It can handle iron wires up to 1.2 mm in diameter and copper wires up to 1.6
A safety cap covers the blades when not in use. Drainage holes in the cap reduce the chance of the blades rusting if put away wet.
